Before installing the brazed plate heat exchanger should be well insulated with insulation material to eliminate condensation. The heat exchanger must not be supported by connecting piping during installation. The heat exchanger must be placed on a stand and fastened with metal cleats or tie rods.
A wet cloth is wrapped around the root of the brazed plate heat exchanger stub to protect the heat exchanger. When brazing the connection, the special silver content of 45% or more of the welding rod must be used, and the flame must be weak so that the solder can be evenly fused into the stainless steel, while the heat exchanger connection head only needs to be heated to the minimum temperature required for brazing, brazing should be quickly cooled after. Note that the entire brazing and cooling process must be carried out under the protection of nitrogen, cooling can not be immersed in water to cool the parts, and a wet cloth can be used to wipe the parts to accelerate cooling.
Any brazed plate heat exchanger has the potential for water to freeze in the heat exchanger when the temperature is below zero degrees Celsius. To prevent freezing of the heat exchanger due to low temperatures, the air conditioning unit must be equipped with a valve for drainage. Take care to keep the water circulating for heating when in use, and drain the water when not in use. Alternatively, add glycol to the water to prevent the water from freezing. To prevent the phenomenon of internal icing, please pay attention to whether the inlet water temperature inside the evaporator is too low, the water flow is too small or broken (blocked piping), and the refrigerant flush filling is insufficient to cause the evaporation temperature to be too low to prevent the evaporator water side from icing.
The water hammer phenomenon is due to the incompressible fluid flow in the pipeline suddenly changing the flow rate of the phenomenon, usually in the sudden closure of the solenoid valve when the water hammer phenomenon. The water hammer phenomenon may rupture the pipeline, and damage the valve and heat exchanger. This phenomenon can be avoided by delaying the time to open or close the valve. This will extend the life of the brazed plate heat exchanger.
