The foundation for installing the heat exchanger must be met so that the heat exchanger does not sink, or so that the pipeline transmits excessive deformation to the receiver of the heat transfer. The foundation is generally divided into two types: one for the brick saddle foundation. Heat exchanger without saddle support and directly on the saddle-shaped foundation, heat exchanger and the foundation is not fixed, can move freely with the need for thermal expansion. Another kind of concrete foundation, a heat exchanger through the saddle support by the foot bolt will be firmly connected with the foundation.
Before installing the heat exchanger should be strictly based on the quality of inspection and acceptance work, the main items are as follows. Foundation surface profile; foundation elevation, plane position, shape, main dimensions, and pre-drilled holes are in line with the actual requirements. Whether the position of the foundation bolts is correct, whether the thread condition is good, and whether the nuts and washers are complete. Whether the surface of the foundation where the gasket is placed is flat, etc.
After the acceptance of the foundation, before the installation of the heat exchanger on the foundation of the pad iron, place the pad iron at the surface of the foundation must be shoveled flat, so that the two can be in good contact. The thickness of the pad iron can be adjusted so that the heat exchanger can reach the designed horizontal height. The placement of the pad iron can increase the stability of the heat exchanger on the foundation, and its weight through the pad iron is evenly transferred to the foundation. The pad iron can be divided into flat pad iron, inclined pad iron, and open pad iron. Among them, the inclined mats must be used in pairs. Both sides of the foot bolt should be pad iron, pad iron installation should not impede the thermal expansion of the heat exchanger.
